For Parents:

1. Refund Eligibility: Parents are eligible to request a refund if they choose to discontinue tutoring services. However, the refund will be processed only after deducting:
- The fees for the number of classes completed by the tutor.
- A service charge of ₹200 for administrative purposes.
2. Refund Calculation: The refundable amount will be calculated as follows:
- Total paid fees minus fees for the completed classes and the ₹200 service fee.
- Example: If a parent paid ₹5000 for 10 classes and the tutor has completed 3 classes, the amount for 3 classes plus ₹200 will be deducted from the total fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
3. Refund Processing Time: Once the refund request is approved, it will take 2-3 working days to process. The amount will be transferred to the parent's registered bank account within 6-7 working days after processing.
4. Cancellation Notice: Parents must provide at least 24 hours' notice if they wish to cancel an upcoming class without penalty. Failure to provide notice may result in the session fee being forfeited.

For Tutors:

1. Platform Fee Refund: Tutors are required to pay a platform fee upon registration. This fee will only be refunded in the following case:
- If the platform does not assign any tuition to the tutor within a period of 6 months, the platform fee will be refunded in full.
2. Non-Refundable Cases: If the tutor has been assigned at least one tuition within the six-month period, the platform fee will not be refundable, even if the tutor decides to discontinue using the platform's services.
3. Refund Processing Time: The platform fee refund will be processed within 2-3 working days after approval, and the amount will be transferred to the tutor's registered bank account within 6-7 working days.
4. Cancellation Notice: Tutors must provide at least one month's notice if they wish to cancel ongoing tutoring engagements. Failure to provide this notice may result in non-payment for the remaining classes.

General Guidelines:

- Refund Request Submission: Refund requests must be submitted through the platform's customer support available in the app.
- Mode of Refund: All refunds will be processed through bank transfers to the bank account linked to the parent or tutor's profile on the platform.
- Exceptions: Refunds will not be issued in cases of policy violations by the parent or tutor, including cases of misconduct or engaging directly outside of the platform without permission.
